The film tells the story of Jake Taylor, a young man who has it all: a
basketball scholarship, the ideal girlfriend, and the right friends. But faced
with the demands of the in-crowd, Jake has written off his childhood
best-friend, Roger. Isolated and mistreated, Roger finally takes his anger to
the extreme when he shows up one day on campus with a gun.
To Save A Life Reviews8.1 out of 10 “The big take away of this movie is simple, yet powerful. Great film that had a very influential and impacting story. Anyone who deals with youths or teens on a regular basis needs to watch this film. It is an eye-opener, one not to be missed!” — Jay Heilman, 1/22/2010 “The teen drama ‘To Save a Life,’ nicely directed by Brian Baugh from a script by Jim Britts, manages to be appealing, poignant and inspiring in ways that are gentle and quite real.” — Gary Goldstein, 1/22/2010 “In the end, To Save a Life demonstrates the continuing evolution of faith-themed films from sub-par niche novelties toward full-blown, commercial art with broad cultural appeal. To Save a Life is perhaps even more a miracle than the average feature film. ... Not only did it beat the odds, it did so with its soul still firmly attached.” — Jeremy D. Boreing , 1/22/2010 |
